Kiera has designs to be a winner
11:00am Saturday 27th September 2008
A DOODLE for Google could win a Bury schoolgirl internet fame and a holiday of a lifetime in California!
And local people are urged to get behind seven-year-old Kiera Lynchey and to vote for her design in an online competition which closes on Monday evening.
Kiera, a pupil at Woodbank Primary School, is flying the flag for the North West as the regions only entrant left in the annual Doodle4Google competition.
Youngsters throughout the UK were asked to design their own artwork around the name Google and the winning entry will be used on the Google homepage in the UK next Wednesday.
This years theme is My Community which has been amply illustrated in Kieras design.
